Today at work I was making baskets. Because we didn’t have any cans, plastic bags, or boxes. So all day us basket makers stay at home making baskets.We cut down trees with axs. We cut down all kinds of trees like ash, hickory,and willow trees. We cut the wood into long strips. We also soak the wood in water to make it bendable. Using a mallet then we flatten them once so they’re soft. Then wove the bottom. We make different kinds of baskets. Even kids would make baskets.
